My name is Heather Bowser.  This is my sixth year teaching at Purchase Line Elementary, but my first year teaching second grade. 

I am originally from Murrysville, PA, and graduated from Franklin Regional High School in 2005.  I attended Clarion University for my undergrad, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and earned additional certifications in Middle School Math and Middle School English.  I also earned my Master's degree in Special Education through Slippery Rock University.

I began my career as a Title I Math Aide with the Allegheny Valley School District, then I taught at the Penn Hills Charter School for five years in multiple grade levels.  I taught sixth grade math here the last five years.

I am married and have two daughters; Hallie (6) and Evva (1).
