Hello!  I am Rebecca Peterson a learning support teacher.  I look forward to working with my students  and watching them grow in all ways. I went to school here as did my husband and children.  I also had previously worked here as an instructional assistant.  I am a graduate of IUP and formerly taught life skills and learning support at Punxsutawney Area School District. 

I am married to Rob and we have two sons, Matthew and Craig.  Matthew is married to Jody and I am the proud Nana to Addison and Noah.  Craig is an artist and runner and travels the country.  Some of my hobbies and favorite things to do are cooking, camping, and reading. I also have a Bernese Mountain dog named Wrigley and a cat named Smudge.

My goal in returning to Purchase Line is to assist my students in becoming the best well-rounded person they can be.  I want them to believe in themselves and have confidence they can “reach for the stars”.

I look forward to working with all the staff at Purchase Line to make a difference in the lives of our students.
